Tony Scotts Boxing Day Best Bets

Posted: Tuesday, 24th December 2019

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with your friends and family but it’s now time for one of the best sporting days of the year – Boxing Day.

A real footballing feast is served up today with live action starting at 12:30 and finishing up at 10pm!

TOFFEES TIP

Thursday – 3.00pm Odds Bets
Tony Scott’s Toffee’s Tip – Everton v Burnley
Ashley Westwood to be carded    Best Bet 16/5

Odds correct as of 2019-12-24 12:55:27

It’s Everton v Burnley at Goodison Park for Carlo Ancelotti’s first game in charge of Everton.

Everton have picked up of late under the stewardship of Duncan Ferguson collecting five points in the previous three matches against Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal respectively.

Burnley themselves have improved recently with six points from six so it should make interesting viewing.

Ironically, Carlo Ancelotti’s last Premier League match was at Goodison Park where he was sacked immediately as Chelsea manager after guiding Chelsea to second place in 2011.

BET: Ashley Westwood to be carded 16/5 at BetVictor.

KOP PICK

Thursday – 8.00pm Odds Bets
Tony Scott’s Kop Pick – Leicester v Liverpool
Over 3.5 goals    Best Bet 7/4

Odds correct as of 2019-12-24 12:56:43

After scooping the World Club Cup, Liverpool travel to Leicester City on Boxing Day looking to continue where they left off.

The Reds are absolutely unstoppable at the moment but if there is to be any bumps in the road to winning the Premier League then this fixture could be the one.

Both teams have scored in this fixture in eight out of the previous nine matches so I’m sure it’s a safe bet to happen once more with the likes of James Maddison, Jamie Vardy, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane on the pitch.

Even thou these two teams boast the joint best defence in the league, I’m still expecting goals.

BET: Over 3.5 goals 7/4 Paddy Power.

SCOTTYS CERT

Thursday – 5.30pm Odds Bets
Scotty’s Cert – Man Utd v Newcastle
BTTS    Best Bet 11/10

Odds correct as of 2019-12-24 12:58:33

You’ll have to wait until 5:30pm on Boxing Day for the Scottys Cert but it will be worth the wait.

Steve Bruce has kindly given the Newcastle players Christmas day off and they will want to replay him with a performance at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have kept only two clean sheets all season while Steve Bruce’s men have beaten Sheffield United, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur all away from home.

BET: Both Teams to Score 11/10 Bet365.

THE ACCA

Tony Scott’s Boxing Day Acca Odds Bet
Tips: Chelsea to beat Saints @ 1 / 3
Sheffield Wednesday to beat Stoke @ 9 / 5
Bristol Rovers to beat Wimbledon @ 3 / 4
Exeter to beat Newport @ 17 / 20
Accapays @ 11 / 1

It’s one from each division on this weeks Acca. Chelsea Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol Rovers and Exeter complete our four fold.

It pays around 11/1 with Bet365.

Good luck everyone.
