Karim Benzema And Gabriel Jesus Star In Our Tuesdays Mixed Anytime Goalscorer Acca

Posted: Tuesday, 26th November 2019

The Champions League returns this evening and there are some absolute crackers on display. Two of Europe’s heaviest hitters meet in the Spanish capital, as Real Madrid welcome Paris Saint-Germain to the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos would close the gap on the Frenchmen to just two points with a win, though a defeat would see Thomas Tuchel’s side extend their lead at the top of Group A to eight points, in turn securing themselves top-spot heading into the knockout stages of the competition next year.

Elsewhere, Juventus and Atletico Madrid lock horns in Turin; Manchester City host Shakhtar Donetsk and Tottenham welcome Olympiacos to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a must-win game for Jose Mourinho’s new side.

Away from the Champions League, there are also plenty of appetising games taking place in the Championship. Fulham host Derby; Leeds travel to Reading and Cardiff welcome strugglers Stoke to South Wales – where Neil Harris will be hoping to obtain his first victory as Bluebirds manager, after his opening match resulted in a 2-2 draw away at Charlton on Saturday.

So, with plenty of action for us to get our teeth stuck into this evening, The Betting Directory have taken a look at some decent anytime goalscorer options on offer – check them out below.

Tips: Karim Benzema to score at anytime @ /

Aleksandar Mitrovic to score at anytime @ /

Karim Benzema – Real Madrid vs Paris Saint-Germain

Few things are certain in life but death, taxes and Karim Benzema scoring goals for Real Madrid are three of them. The 31-year-old spent years in Cristiano Ronaldo and then Gareth Bale’s shadow, before Eden Hazard’s introduction during the summer saw him once again fall further down the list in the ‘superstar’ pecking order at the Bernabeu.

However, this season the France international has been Los Blancos’ most effective player, scoring 12 goals in all competitions for the Spanish titans. Benzema found the net twice in the club’s last European outing against Galatasaray at the start of November – a match Real ended up winning 6-0 – and also scored on Saturday as Madrid eased past Real Sociedad 3-1 in La Liga. With that in mind, we think he’s a great shout to find the net tonight.

Gabriel Jesus – Manchester City vs Shakhtar Donetsk

It’s more than likely that even if he was fully-fit, Sergio Aguero would have been rested for Manchester City’s 8-millionth clash against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League group stages. As it happens, the Argentine limped off injured during the 2-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday evening so will 100% not be featuring for the Cityzens at the Etihad tonight.

Not that it matters, as Pep Guardiola’s side have A) pretty much already secured qualification to January’s knockout stages and B) have a world-class back-up striker to rely on in the form of Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian has netted five goals in just eight starts for City this season (all competitions) and will feel confident in his ability of bagging another against Shakhtar tonight, just like he did in the reverse fixture of this tie back in September.

Aleksandar Mitrovic – Fulham vs Derby County

Serbian marksman Aleksandar Mitrovic is way too good for the Championship, everybody knows that. He was the one shining light for Fulham last season, as the Cottagers endured a miserable campaign in the Premier League and were relegated back to the second-tier. This season, the former Newcastle front man is once again demonstrating his class in west London, scoring 12 league goals so far.

Mitrovic sits top of the Championship goalscoring charts after 17 games, with his latest effort coming in the Whites’ 1-0 win over Birmingham before the international break. The 25-year-old served a one-match suspension against rivals QPR on Friday night after picking up his fifth yellow of the campaign against Birmingham, so will be keen to hit the ground running against Derby this evening to make up for lost time.

Treble odds: 6.49/1 with BetVictor

Bonus selection:

Karlan Grant – Huddersfield Town vs Swansea City

That anytime goalscorer treble comes in at a tasty 6.49/1 with BetVictor, but if you’re on the lookout for something a little bigger, then add our ‘bonus selection’ to your bet to make it a four-fold priced at 19.71/1 with UNIBET.

Huddersfield Town’s Karlan Grant has been on fire this season, netting 9 league goals. The Terriers have been in good form on home soil in recent weeks, too, unbeaten in their last five games at the John Smith’s Stadium. In those games, Danny Cowley’s men have only failed to score once, making it likely that they’ll find the net at least once tonight and should they do so, Grant is undoubtedly their biggest threat up top. You know it makes sense..

Four-fold odds: 19.71/1 with Unibet
