A dramatic weekend of football in the Champions League and Europe League has gone by in a breathless blur of Lionel Messi, goals and drama. Attention returns to the Premier League for us this weekend though, starting with Friday night’s clash between Everton and Burnley at Goodison Park.
It isn’t all about football though as the World Snooker Championship moves towards the business end of proceedings and the Punchestown Festival in Ireland continues apace…
The match on Merseyside is one for purists as Everton, who are ninth in the table, take on a Burnley side sitting in the relative comfort of 15th place. There is very little to play for but there have been signs of improvement from both teams of late.
Everton have kept seven clean sheets in nine league games, going 360 minutes without conceding a goal at Goodison Park, and under 2.5 looks like the best bet against a conservative Burnley team.

Friday’s Football Treble
Plenty of football to enjoy around Europe on Friday night and Sevilla are tipped to win their La Liga home game in a row when they host Leganes, who are winless in five games.
In the German Bundesliga, RB Leipzig are in great form as they have won six games in a row and they have also won their last seven away games on the bounce ahead of their trip to Mainz, who have lost nine of their past 12 Bundesliga outings.
Finally, both teams to score is our best bet for the French Ligue 1 game involving Strasbourg and Marseille. The latter have seen both teams score in five of their last six games, while BTTS has landed in five of Strasbourg’s past six home matches.
