Following the thrills and spills of another weekend of football around Europe, Monday’s best action comes from Serie A and La Liga. We’ve got a treble for the big games in Italy and Spain, as well as a nap of the day from the all-weather racing at Wolverhampton…
Monday’s Football Treble
In Serie A, Atalanta have been in great form of late as they have booked their place in the Coppa Italia final courtesy of a thrilling win over Fiorentina in the semi’s and they have been in good touch in the league, going unbeaten in their past eight games. In contrast, Udinese have been in dreadful form away from home, failing to win 13 on the road since they last tasted success on 23rd September 2018. Atalanta look like bankers here.
Fiorentina’s disappointing run of form continued with their Coppa Italia defeat at the hands of the aforementioned Atalanta last week and it is the draw which makes most appeal when they host Sassuolo. Both teams are sitting comfortably in mid-table and looking ahead to their summer holidays. Fiorentina have won only two of their last 16 matches in Serie A, drawing nine and losing four. Six of their last seven home games have ended in a draw, as have Sassuolo’s past three league outings.
Finally, Real Betis take on Espanyol in a mid-table meeting in La Liga and this has goals written all over it. Betis have gone seven games without a clean sheet and both teams to score has paid out in six of those, while Espanyol haven’t kept a clean sheet since 17th February and both teams to score landed in each of their last five outings (as well as in 11 of their last 14!).

Nap of the day
It has been a good few days of tips on the horse racing front for Betting-Directory as we landed four winning bets from four on Friday, before getting the winner of the Select Hurdle at Sandown correct on Saturday.
Our best bet for Monday comes from the 4.35pm at Wolverhampton, where Sir Michael Stoute’s Mokammal is a worthy favourite for this 8 furlong sprint. A runner-up on debut, the 3-year-old looks primed to thrive on the all-weather.
