Thursdays Europa League Anytime Goalscorer Treble

Posted: Thursday, 28th November 2019

We will get there, one day. This week’s anytime goalscorer accumulators have been coming close – on Tuesday it was just Gabriel Jesus who let our 19/1 four-fold down, while last night both Bradley Dack and Lautaro Martinez did the business but Britt Assombalonga and Mo Salah failed to find an opening in their respective fixtures. Huge shame. But we go again, don’t we.

Tonight’s action is all Europa League, and while there are some total shockers on show, there are a few tasty fixtures for us to get stuck into involving the likes of Wolves and Arsenal from the Premier League, who take on Braga and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively. United’s Under-23s are in action this afternoon against Astana, but we’ve decided to avoid that fixture like the plague.

Raul Jimenez vs Braga – Wolves are the second English team in action this evening, when they take on Braga at 17.55. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men find themselves in a healthy position as things stand – second in the group after 4 games – but do need to win tonight to secure qualification to the knockout stages in January.

Raul Jimenez is of course Wolves’ biggest threat heading into this tie. The Mexican front man has notched 14 goals in all competitions for the West Midlanders this term, with eight of those coming in Europe. At odds of 2/1, we think he’s great value to bag himself a goal anytime this evening.

Alfredo Morelos vs Feyenoord – Alfredo Morelos is a total bagsman, there’s no other way to describe him. The Colombian striker has scored 22 goals already this season and it’s only November, making his inclusion into this evening’s anytime goalscorer treble an easy decision.

Rangers are tied level on points with leaders Young Boys as things stand so could go top of Group G with a win, should the Swiss outfit lose to Porto in the group’s other game. A defeat, however, would see Feyenoord move level on points with them heading into the final round of fixtures in December so, in short, Morelos needs to do the business tonight. He’s in.

Gabrielle Martinelli vs Eintracht Frankfurt – 18-year-old striker Gabriel Martinelli may not have scored a Premier League goal at Arsenal, but he has been absolutely tearing it up in the Europa League. The Brazilian has scored three goals in three Europa League outings for the Gunners and will be looking to add to that impressive tally when Eintracht Frankfurt come visit the Emirates tonight.

With Arsenal four points clear at the top of Group F, it’s hugely likely that manager Unai Emery will rest both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette ahead of the north Londoners’ Premier League clash against Norwich on Sunday. Martinelli has started Arsenal’s last three matches in Europe so will almost certainly spearhead the Gunners’ attack this evening.

Treble odds: 21/1 with UNIBET
