How A 92nd Minute Booking For Granit Xhaka In The North London Derby Won A Punter Nearly 12k From A 3 Bet

Bookmakers offer a whole host of different style bets for televised football matches, but one punter at the weekend bagged themselves a sensational £11,970 win from a £3 #PriceItUp bet with BetVictor, and we look at this stunning win here:

Sunday served up two corking clashes with the first match seeing Everton prevail 3-2 over Wolves in a humdinging five-goal thriller, while later in the afternoon the points were shared in the North London derby as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 at the Emirates Stadium.

However, it was the latter of those two entertaining contests that ultimately sealed the sensational winner, and the punter couldn’t have left it much later to collect, as a 92nd minute book for Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka sealed the eight-selection bet, and the near £12k figure was won.

Prior to the kick-off of both games, the punter was expecting an action-packed day of Premier League football, and in the Everton and Wolves clash he backed a goal to be scored by both Everton’s Richarlison and Wolves’ Raul Jimenez. Both attacking stars delivered, and the punter then backed a couple of players to be booked.

Everton’s Fabian Delph and Ryan Bennett are both regular names in a referees’ notebook, and both found themselves receiving a yellow card during the 90 minutes, and so the first half of the bet was secured.

Moving to the capital, goals for Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Tottenham’s Harry Kane were certainly realistic events, and both strikers shone in front of goal and hit the back of the net.

Swiftly moving into the bookings market, Danny Rose was cautioned for Spurs, as he looked to stop the attacking flare of the Gunners, but it was Xhaka that was the last man to complete a magnificent #PriceItUp double.

Despite giving a penalty away, Xhaka kept out of Martin Atkinson’s book, but the Swiss international maintained his booking frequency with a 92nd minute caution, and that duly landed the outrageous eight-fold, and BetVictor.com were paying out a winner.
