A massive weekend of sport coming up and we’ve got bets for the best of the action on Saturday. There are three live Premier League games to enjoy, as well as racing from Punchestown Festival and Newmarket, while we’ll also serve up a tempting football treble…
Tottenham might be tempted to field a team of youngsters when they travel to Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime as Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to keep his side fresh for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Ajax on Wednesday.
Spurs have never lost to Bournemouth, winning six and drawing one, and it is well worth noting that over 3.5 goals has landed in five of those seven meetings.

Cardiff are clinging on to survival and Saturday evening’s match with Crystal Palace can be filed in the ‘must win’ folder. The Welsh side have been dreadful at home though and we can see Palace, who boast the sixth-best away record in the Premier League, securing a fifth win in seven matches on the road.

Finally, Liverpool have won only one of their last seven matches against Newcastle at St James’ Park ahead of their massive match on Saturday night. The Reds are desperate to keep their title push on track as they prepare to face their old manager Rafa Benitez, who will no doubt try to frustrate his former employers.
Under 2.5 goals is 23/20 and our best bet as it has paid out in the previous three meetings between these sides in the North East, while Virgil van Dijk is our speculative 20/1 first goalscorer pick as he could make a big impression from a corner or set-piece (Liverpool have scored a league-high 18 goals from set-pieces and 16 with headers this season).

Saturday’s Football Treble
Saturday’s treble starts with a win for Charlton, who can still finish as high as third in the table. They have been superb at home for much of this campaign, going unbeaten on home soil since 6th October 2018, and they are tipped for a sixth home victory on the bounce when they host Rochdale.
Peterborough boosted their hopes of nicking a play-off place by beating Portsmouth in mid-week and we’ll back them to defeat Burton, who can be forgiven for being on the beach already as they sit comfortably in ninth place in the table with no chance of breaking into the top-six.
Stevenage, who still harbour very slim hopes of reaching the play-offs after taking 13 points from their last five matches, and they should be too good for a poor Cheltenham side.
